Ronan Kanda was a 16-year-old boy who was stabbed to death in Wolverhampton in June 2022 in a tragic case of mistaken identity. He was attacked by two 17-year-olds, Prabjeet Veadhesa and Sukhman Shergill, who had bought a set of swords and a machete online and intended to target one of Ronan’s friends over an unpaid debt. Ronan, who had just finished his GCSEs and wanted to study business at college, died near his home after visiting a friend to buy a PlayStation controller.
