Ann Mercogliano was born and raised in New York City. She developed an interest in journalism at a young age and pursued her dream of becoming a reporter. She graduated from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a bachelor’s degree in political communication. While attending GW, Ann served as an intern in The White House Office of Media Affairs. She also held an internship at ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” and WABC-TV in New York.
