ambapani eco tourism:- If we talk about the  places of Gujarat with nature’s beauty, Saurashtra from religious point of view and South Gujarat from natural point of view comes first. If we finally count from Saputara, the border of Maharashtra, you have to spend two days just to see the tourist places of Dang and Tapi districts. Including Saputara, Mahal Campsite, Giradhodh, Girmal dhodh, Shabaridham, Pampa Sarovar, Don Hill Station etc. of Dang District and Ambapani Eco Tourism of Tapi District, Padamdungari Eco Tourism , Ukai dam, Doswada dam, Songadh fort, Gaumukh, Thuti Eco Tourism etc. Apart from these, some places of Navsari district are also close by these places.

Ambapani eco tourism: –

Ambapani Eco Tourism is a natural education center developed on the banks of river Purna at Amania alias Ambapani village in Dolwan taluka of Tapi district. Bhenskatari Road is located at a distance of 35 km from this eco-tourism village. This place has been developed by District Tourism Development Committee Tapi under the implementation of Forest Department in the year 2016-2020.

Best place to visit by nature lovers:-

This place is very important for nature lovers. During the monsoon season, the forest is flourishing here. Here you will definitely feel like you are sitting in the company of nature. The whole place seems like a green carpet and one can feel the natural cold here. Those who are habitual of Air conditioner can also feel the natural cold and enjoy it a lot.

Facilities at camp:-

Here, few facilities are really very good.  Ambapani Eco Tourism is located on the banks of the river Purna. Due to the check dam located here, water is seen for many months. So boating facilities have also been set up there by the tourism department.

The Tree House is a special attraction for tourists. The privilege of living in this tree house must be taken. The Tree House is located on the banks of the river and has a viewing gallery in front of it.

In addition to this, various sports equipments for children have also been placed here. 

Canteen facilities for snacks and meals are also available for tourists. Also, here you can enjoy 5 meals of desi dangi food. In addition, you can easily find cold drinks etc. here.

Other tourist amenities include Main Gate, Food Court, Kitchen, Gazebo, Boating Deck, Sitting Bench, Tree House, Children’s Play Area with Equipment etc. 

There are still many facilities that can be developed for this eco-tourism. If a small river causeway is constructed here, the distance of this tourist spot can be reduced by 10-12 kms. Also, it is possible to connect the main road of tourist places like Mayadevi-Mahal. 

Apart from this, many water-sports activities can be developed here as there is water in Purna river for many months. We hope that in the near future the administration will create more beautiful facilities than this.

One of the highlights of my visit to this eco-tourism is the branched trees here. The shade of the branched trees here makes you feel like you are sitting in the lap of nature. It is home to mainly teak and other wild trees. Some even give the impression that they are  older than 100 years.

Accommodation as well as tea, snacks and meals are also arranged by the local Sakhi Mandali. Where desi dangi food is available. The entire river flows through this area. So that a checkdam is built over it. Water stays there for many months. In which a boat is kept for the passengers. There are still many opportunities and scope for development of this center. In this regard, group tourism and continuous training programs in the field of tourism and natural training etc. A tourism environment has been developed at the center of Amaniya / Ambapani to provide a live environment for the site and continuous tourists / trainees and to continue this program automatically.
